Fees and Service Descriptions

Thank you for considering Speak Easy Speech Services. Speak Easy is considered out of network for all insurances and does not accept any insurance at this time. Payment for all services must be provided directly by the patient to Speak Easy Speech Services either by cash, check, or electronic payment. Once payment is received, the patient can request a superbill receipt which provides diagnosis codes which can be submitted to an insurance company to see reimbursement. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the representative what the speech therapy coverage is with an out-of-network provider.

Billing codes can vary patient to patient, but the most common codes are:

  • 92610: Evaluation of oral swallowing function

  • 92522: Comprehensive Speech-Language Evaluation

  • 92526: Treatment of swallowing dysfunction and/or oral function for feeding

  • 92507: Speech therapy

Screens: $25

*Screens are available for pediatric speech sound concerns only*

Screens typically consist of a quick oral mechanism exam, a few minutes of informal spontaneous conversation, and an informal assessment analyzing sound errors. A written summary with findings and recommendations will be included. I am also available by phone to discuss if a full evaluation is warranted.

Evaluations: $400

Evaluations consist of standardized speech sound assessment, a receptive/expressive language assessment, a feeding/swallowing assessment, and/or a myofunctional evaluation, depending on the needs/concerns of the client. The evaluation includes a written report of findings with goals, recommendations, or referrals

Therapy: $100

$100 per 30 minute session

Therapy is typically conducted for 30 minutes weekly, but can vary depending on the client’s needs. All therapy includes a home program to aid in carryover of skills learned during therapy.
